A major component of CNBS’ commercialization plan includes industrially populated and focused advisory boards that guide the center’s research and development efforts to ensure industrial relevance. To populate these industry advisory boards, CNBS is currently engaging senior level management, department leads, and key researchers in the fields of healthcare, medical devices, pharmaceutical research and development, biotechnology, and biomedical research and development. Entrepreneurs, senior level representatives from service providers, and private equity investor groups who have an interest in technology commercialization in these areas are also being recruited.
